There is nothing like fresh lemon juice for recipes and drinks. Yet I do not have the strong hands needed to squeeze the lemon after you cut it in half. You can spend the money on a juicer, but unless you are going to use it a lot it is just a waste of money. You can get those old fashioned orange juicers with the point in the middle, that are really too big to do lemons. Or you can get a lemon squeezer/juicer.

Take your lemon, roll it on it's side with your palm and a little pressure for a few seconds, this will loosen up the juices a bit (not shown in Video). Cut you lemon in half width wise, take one half and put it in the cup with holes cut side down. Hold over dish, squeeze both handles together and this will squeeze the lemon juices out through the holes into your dish. See video for demo:
