Fruit Infused Water Bottle 25 Ounce by Decodyne

We know the newest in thing in nutrition is infuser drinking bottles, add fruit and the flavor mixes with your water.  A great way to add extra nutrients and keep hydrated at the same time.  The one thing about infuser bottles though, is that the infuser is at the top so that as you drink your water you only have a slight infusion of the fruit.  After all, your water only covered the fruit in the beginning but not at the end of your drink.

That is where Decodyne redesigned the infusion bottle.  They inverted the infuser, it is now on the bottom of your bottle so that the fruit is in your water until the last sip.  How ingenious is that??  I love the idea!

The 25 ounce bottle is tall, sturdy and has a nicely formed lid with a long plastic straw.  Nothing new?  Well this plastic tube of a bottle has a bottom that screws off so that you can unscrew the attached infuser filter and fill it with fruit that will flavor your water to your liking. Please make sure the bottom is tight so you will have no accidents.   I have noticed there is one downfall, the straw is long enough to get the last drop but with this being the case there doesn't seem to be enough room between the infuser and the sides to give the straw the air it needs for proper suction.  There are two ways to help this: one is to cut the straw (not really recommended but would work), two is to loosen the lid so that there is extra air flow,  you don't have to loosen too loose for this to work, and then when done sipping just tighten lid again.   The definite benefits to this bottle is the full fruit flavor infusion to the last drop!

Decodyne has been well known for their kitchen wares including infusion pitchers and bottles.  I think with the inverted infusers they will kick off their products even more.  I know I will be looking forward to and inverted infusion pitcher.  Until then I will enjoy this bottle!

Hygenie: The Original Acne Fighting Silver Ionic Pillowcase from Best Infomercial Products

Sleep is essential to our bodies, it helps them recover from the day of stress, helps give them time to rest and function properly.   But did you know that with the right bedding you can also help protect your body from germs and allergens.  A lot of times it can be these germs that cause your face to break out.  I get those small pimples along my hairline, the ones that just seem like they will never go away.   You can wash your face, go to bed and still they seem to appear.  The thing I was not consciously aware of is that my pillow cases could be a contributing factor to this issue.  After all we lay on our pillows and cases for a week or so and all the germs the air and on our bodies are being transferred to the case and onto our face while we sleep.

Now we can help block allergens and germs while helping to heal our acne at that same time.  The Hygenie Pillow Case helps us do that.  We have heard of hypoallergenic bedding, but the first question that arises is how does this pillow case help us heal our acne?

The Hygenie Pillow case is infused with ionic silver.

Ionic silver what is that and how does it work?

Ionic silver, besides being a very controversial subject, is a form of silver that can help cell regeneration, fight bacteria, boost immunity, relieves inflammation,  and help soothe the skin.

Now as I stated this is a very controversial subject between what used to be called colloidal silver and the now ionic silver.  For years colloidal silver was used to treat acne, rosacea, and other skin disorders, not to mention ingested to help the immune system.  It is said that ionic silver does the same.  Where as acne is caused by bacteria, as are some allergies and bad orders, the ionic silver in infused in this pillow case helps fight that bacteria preventing these problems.  The silver helps the inflammation of the skin diminishing the look of acne and helping your skin cells rejuvenate clearing up the skin even faster.   This is not saying that with severe cases you should use the pillow case alone, I still suggest regular cleaning of your face and a tropical solution to help heal your acne faster.  With that being said, the pillow case will help for a faster recovery.

My experience with this pillow case has been a good one.  I have noticed my acne diminish a bit and I do like that even after a couple weeks of using this case it still smells fresh. Freshness is a big thing after using this a couple weeks, because there are times when I drool while sleeping, yet I haven't seemed to during use and if so I see no marks of it as I would on a regular pillow case and no smell (you know that morning breath smell we all hate!) So I feel the silver is working.

The case itself feels like you just wrapped your pillow in a t-shirt.  It is not a satiny or Egyptian cotton feel.  You will want to wash it before using, I didn't and it has a bit of rougher material feel.

I do feel like this is a good investment, I will also be testing this on my son who has extreme acne and finding out how well it will work on him.  I will update later on how well it works with him.

Best Pedicure Callus Remover by Drs ProChoice

Here it is, summer time, perfect time to don the sandals and show off our feet.  The best way to keep cool during the hot months.

Unfortunately I inherited my families callused feet and without beaches around for the natural exfoliation I resort to other means.  I have tried almost all the tools out there and have shaved my calluses too close and walked in pain or just hid my ugly feet!  I have tried the balm and sock  method, which if used consistently can help. Yet, I am one that in the middle of the night, have to kick off my socks because they make me too hot, and what hasn't soaked into the sock, and even what has, makes the bed messy.  I have also tried the files which just seems to be a lot of work  without the results, except for working out the muscles in your hand and arm from the effort.

So despite all the methods my feet still looked bad in my sandals and I just grinned and beared it.  Until now, with this callus remover it files away the dead skin easily.  On my feet, without the constant upkeep it does take time to file the dead skin off, but once the initial first time is done it is easy to keep up on them.

This powerful callous remover has a powerful little motor that provides a little file roller the ability to file quickly and safely all that dead skin off.   No more shaving those calluses too close.  You will want to do this over a towel or the tub as you will see all the dead flakes coming off and leaving a mess.   This callous remover will make it easy for those times you need to quickly repair your feet for that hot date or the beach.  I do suggest using this on your feet at least once a week if not more and use a really good balm or lotion right afterwards.

The callous remover can be used on wet or dry feet, and is easy to clean.  It is battery operated, and to maintain the power you will want to maintain the batteries.  As the battery power goes lower so will the roller.  I recommend rechargeable batteries for your convenience.  The batteries are easy to replace, just turn the bottom of the handle 90 degrees and pull, the cap will come right off to replace the batteries.  The callous remover comes with an extra roller and a little brush for cleaning. The head is very easy to remove, button on the side, and you will want to clean under the roller after each use.

I must say I am very pleased to have received this to remove because now I can have nice feet without all the drying, cracking skin.   This has become one of my favorite products.

Washi Tape by Mikoka

Crafts are such a way to enhance our lives, decorate and liven our rooms and items.  Everywhere there is a craft, something fun to do with everything.   Tape crafts are something I remember from really young.   I remember when we used to take a decorative bottle and cover it with pieces of regular masking tape.  We would then paint it with shoe polish, wipe it leaving polish in the creases, and when done it would have an old vintage look to it.  We would gift these to our parents for vases or pencil holders.  At some point in time there has always been a craft made out of whatever kind of tape was around.  Duct tape used to be the new fad, duct tape wallets, and purses, and with the strength you could make almost anything with duct tape.  It was a sticky process!

These days crafters have moved on to a Japanese tape called Washi.   Washi tape is a type of paper that is made from natural fibers, some in bamboo and hemp, but mostly from the bark of trees that are native to Japan called mitsumaba shrub or the gampi tree.

Washi tape is strong and much like masking tape, yet it is great for crafters as you can remove and reposition it as needed without a sticky residue but it sticks well to all kinds of surfaces.  it comes in different widths, colors, patterns, and lengths.  Washi tape is decorative and pretty allowing your creative juices to flow!  You can find all kinds of crafts online and on Pinterest for washi tape, choose your pattern and enjoy yours today!
