Water...we are required to drink at least 8 cups a day. Yet in my house we don't drink enough. Our homes water is hard and full of lots of minerals that add an off taste to it at times. We have purchased bottled water and yet it goes so fast we cannot keep in supply, at least we drank water then.
When we first tried an infusion bottle and realized how great and economical our water could be by infusing different flavors into it, well we all needed a bottle then. Not only were we getting our water but also added nutrients from the fruit we added to the infusion section. So when I had the chance to try and review the Fruit Infusion Pitcher I was so happy!! This pitcher allowed us to have water on hand more often and have it more infused.
This 3qt pitcher is made of a sturdy clear plastic. I like the shape of the pitcher, it is a nice curved shape that fits in with any decor. The lid has a lip to fit on the top of the pitcher nice and tight. The infuser part of the pitcher screws into the lid for a nice tight fit. The infuser holds quite a bit of fruit, that you can use fresh, frozen, or even veggies and herbs such as cucumber and mint, or tea bags. You could even sweeten your water or tea for an added touch. There are many ways to flavor your water with this infusion pitcher. The longer you leave the fruit in the more flavor you will get. On the internet you can find many recipes for flavored water that you could use your pitcher for.
We have really enjoyed this pitcher and even my teen boys have really got into using this pitcher and helping keep it in use!!
